CHILD AND YOUTH DEVELOPMENT CENTRE - AICT KITETE
IntroductionThe Child and Youth Development Center (AICT Kitete) is working to liberate the child and Youth from poverty in the name of Jesus, in the physical, spiritual, social, economic and intellectual spheres to become a saved, self-aware and independent adult. In collaboration with Compassion International Tanzania, the center co-ordinates and conducts its activities in accordance with the co-operative policies and ensures that the goals and expected outcomes of the co-operative are met and enable the community to benefit from the partnership. In a very special way, we continue to thank our Heavenly God for the way he has continued to be with us in the ministry we are saving. Even in the various challenges we face during the service of the beneficiaries he has not left us and every step we have taken he is with us. We would also like to thank the Diocesan Leadership (Father Bishop, Secretary and all leaders), Pastor, Council of Elders, Committee Members, Saturday teachers, field teachers and Ester encounters, youth Leadership and all children for the cooperation they provide in the running of the ministry and we pray to God to be with them. The child and youth care center was established in February 2008 with a total of 230 beneficiaries with 114 girls and 116 boys enrolled from various areas around the church to address the needs of their families in order to alleviate their various circumstances. At our TZ0959 center we have a total of 226 beneficiaries of which 116 are boys and 110 are girls who are served by Compassion International Tanzania (CIT) in collaboration with the AICT Tabora-Kitete partner church.
